Tour Itinerary
Upon arrival at the airport, a team member will greet you and transfer you to your Amman hotel. After check-in and local area information, you are free to explore at your leisure before sightseeing begins tomorrow.
Overnight: Amman | Meals: Dinner
Travel north to Jerash, the "Jewel of the North," known for its well-preserved Roman architecture dating back over 6,500 years. Return to Amman in the afternoon to explore the "white city." Tour includes visits to the Citadel (Temple of Hercules, Umayyad Palace, Byzantine Church) and the 6,000-seat Roman Theatre.

Depart Amman via the King's Highway. Stop in Madaba to visit the Greek Orthodox Church of St. George and its 6th Century Byzantine mosaic map. Visit Mt. Nebo, the burial place of Moses, for views of the Holy Land. Cross the deep Wadi al-Mujib canyon. Visit Kerak Castle, a 12th Century Crusader fortress. Arrive and check into your Petra hotel. Optional evening Petra by Candlelight tour available.

A full day dedicated to the Nabatean site of Petra. Start with a 2-3 hour guided tour, traversing the Siq to the Khazneh (Treasury). Explore tombs, a Roman amphitheater, and colonnaded streets. Free time to hike to the Monastery or the High Place of Sacrifice (note: minimum 3km walking; optional horse carriages/donkeys available). In the afternoon, drive to a Bedouin camp in the spectacular desert scenery of Wadi Rum for the evening.

After breakfast, take a Jeep safari to explore the stunning desert and mountains of Wadi Rum, made famous by T.E. Lawrence. Afterward, drive north to the Dead Sea, the lowest point on earth. Stop for an unusual floating experience in the intensely salty water (caution: avoid getting water in eyes). Finish the day back at your hotel in Amman.

Transfer to Amman airport for your flight to Cairo (flight not included in package price). Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met, assisted, and transferred to your hotel. Check-in and have free time to relax or explore Cairo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your Egyptologist guide. Tour the Giza Pyramids (Cheops, Chephren, Mykerinos) and the Sphinx (approx. 2.5 hours). Continue to the Grand Egyptian Museum (approx. 2 hours). Lunch at a local restaurant. Proceed to Sakkara to explore the Step Pyramid of King Djoser, designed by architect Imhotep. Finally, drive to Memphis to visit the Open-Air Museum, including monuments of King Ramses II. Return to your hotel in Cairo.
Overnight: Cairo | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch
Breakfast at the hotel. Meet your guide and transfer to Old Cairo. Visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din and the Mohamed Ali Mosque (Alabaster Mosque). Lunch at a local restaurant. Visit the Coptic Cairo area: Hanging Church, Abu Serga Church, and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Proceed to the Khan El-Khalili bazaar. Transfer back to your hotel in Cairo.

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to Cairo airport for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival, transfer to your Nile cruise ship (boarding at 12:00). In the afternoon, explore Luxor's east bank: the Karnak temple complex (largest structures in human history) and Luxor Temple. Return to the cruise ship. Dinner and an Egyptian folk show in the evening. Spend the night in Luxor.

Breakfast on the Nile cruise. Morning tour of the West Bank: Valley of the Kings (royal cemetery of the Theban pharaohs), the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari, and the Colossi of Memnon (King Amenhotep III). Return to the Cruise for lunch. Tea time on the cruise Sundeck during sailing to Edfu. later Dinner and overnight
Overnight: Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast on the cruise. Guided tour of the Temple of Horus in Edfu, one of Egypt's best-preserved temples. Return to the ship; lunch served while sailing to Kom Ombo. In the afternoon, explore the Temple of Kom Ombo, dedicated to deities Sobek and Haroeris. Return to the ship for rest. Dinner served while sailing to Aswan. Late evening arrival
Overnight: Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast box from the cruise. Transfer by A-C van to Abu Simbel. Visit the Abu Simbel Temples built by King Ramses II (the large temple dedicated to Rahorakhty; the smaller one dedicated to the King and Queen Nefertari). Return to the ship for lunch and afternoon tea. Free evening. Dinner.
Overnight: Nile Cruise | Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Breakfast and check out from the cruise. Join your guide to discover Aswan: the High Dam (built by Gamal Abdel Nasser), a motorboat sail to Agilika island to visit the Temple of Philae (dedicated to goddess Isis), and the Unfinished Obelisk. Drive to Aswan airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, meet the representative and transfer to your hotel.

Breakfast at your hotel in Cairo. Meet your Egyptologist guide for the 3-hour drive to Alexandria. Upon arrival, visit the Roman catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa (3 levels of burial rooms). Head to the Pompey Pillar, the largest in Egypt. Drive to the Qaitbay fortress located beside the sea. Lunch at a quality seafood restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean. Finally, explore the famous New Alexandria Library. After the tour, drive back to Cairo
