1. General Booking Terms
The terms “Experience,” “Tour,” and “Tour/Travel Package” are used interchangeably.
These refer to any activity or service offered on our platform, including:
- Guided tours
- Cultural experiences
- Workshops
- Pre-arranged itineraries
- Combined services such as transportation, accommodation, meals, and activities

2. Tour Types and Definitions
2.1 Day Tour / Experience
- A guided activity completed within a single day
- Duration typically ranges from a few hours up to one day
- Does not include overnight accommodation
Includes:
- Clearly listed inclusions and exclusions
- Duration and pricing details on the experience page
- Designed to offer an immersive introduction to a destination, theme, or activity
2.2 Overnight Tour / Experience
- A multi-day guided journey or cultural experience
- May include:
- Accommodation
- Meals
- Transportation
- Guided activities
- Full itinerary, inclusions, exclusions, duration, and pricing are detailed on the experience page
- Suitable for travelers seeking deeper and extended experiences
2.3 Tour Package / Experience (Plan My Trip)
A fully customized and personalized travel experience
Designed according to the traveler’s preferences, interests, and requirements
Customization may include:
- Destinations
- Activities
- Accommodation
- Duration
- Special requests
Inclusions, exclusions, and pricing are finalized during the planning consultation
Final details are confirmed in the agreed itinerary
3. Pricing, Cancellation, and Refund Policies
3.1 Day Tours / Experiences
Pricing
- Prices are displayed on the tour details page and may change without prior notice
- The listed price includes all stated inclusions
- Additional services or special requests may incur extra charges
Payment methods:
- Online payment via website payment gateways
- Bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other accepted methods (if website issues occur)
Full payment is required at the time of booking
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 48 hours before the tour:
- Full refund (minus processing fees, if applicable), or
- Option to reschedule to the next available date
- Less than 48 hours before the tour or no-show:
- No refund
- Option to reschedule to the next available tour date
Rescheduling
- Requests made at least 24 hours before the tour:
- Booking may be transferred to the next available date (subject to availability)
- If the same tour is unavailable:
- Choose another tour of equal or lower value, or
- Adjust the amount toward a future booking
3.2 Overnight Tours / Experiences
Pricing
- Prices are listed on the tour details page and may change without notice
- Includes all stated inclusions
- Additional services may result in extra charges
Payment options:
- Website payment gateway
- Bank transfer or credit/debit card
Installment Payment Options
- 90+ days before tour: 4 equal installments
- 30–90 days before tour: 3 equal installments
- Less than 30 days before tour: 2 equal installments
Full payment must be completed at least 10 days before the tour
Exact installment amounts and dates are specified in the booking confirmation
Cancellation & Refund Policy
- More than 61 days before tour: Full refund
- 60–30 days before tour: 10% cancellation fee
- 30–10 days before tour: 50% refund
- Less than 10 days before tour or no-show: No refund
3.3 Private or Group Tours (Plan My Trip)
Pricing & Payment
- Pricing is based on:
- Itinerary
- Duration
- Group size
- Accommodation
- Transportation
- Activities and special requests
- Price quotations are valid for 7–14 days
- Booking confirmation requires:
- Typically a 30% advance payment
- Remaining balance:
- Payable in installments as agreed
- Must be fully paid before tour commencement
- Any post-confirmation changes may affect pricing
- Prices exclude personal expenses and services not mentioned in the itinerary
Cancellation & Rescheduling
- More than 31 days before tour: 10% cancellation fee
- 30–15 days before tour: 50% refund
- Less than 15 days before tour or no-show: No refund
- Rescheduling requests must be made at least 15 days before tour start
- Additional costs may apply
- Some third-party costs may be non-refundable and will be disclosed in advance
4. General Tour Guidelines
Guides
- Guide names and profiles are listed on the tour description page
- For overnight tours, guides may change due to logistics or expertise requirements
Meeting Point
- Meeting points are specified in the tour description
- Detailed itineraries are provided for overnight tours
Duration
- Day tours: typically 2–8 hours
- Overnight tours: multi-day with flexible timing
- Delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen events may occur
What to Bring
Day tours:
- Comfortable walking shoes
- Sun protection
- Water bottle
- Modest clothing for religious sites
Overnight tours:
- Personal essentials
- Weather-appropriate clothing
- Items specified in pre-tour communication
Weather
- Tours operate in most weather conditions
- Extreme weather may result in postponement or cancellation
- Guests may reschedule or request a refund if canceled by the company
Punctuality
- Arrive 10–15 minutes before departure time
- Late arrivals may result in missing the tour without refund
5. Health, Safety, and Conduct
- Participants must follow guide instructions at all times
- Medical conditions should be disclosed in advance
- Personal medications should be carried
Special Requirements
- Dietary restrictions, mobility issues, or medical needs must be communicated in advance
Photography
- Allowed unless restricted by site regulations
- Respect privacy and cultural sensitivities
Mobile Phones
- Phones should be kept on silent during tours
- Urgent calls should be taken away from the group
Video & Audio Recording
- Recording guides or tour content is prohibited without prior permission
- All content is protected intellectual property
Smoking
- Not permitted during tours
- Designated breaks may be provided on longer tours
Shopping
- No forced shopping stops
- Guides do not receive commissions
6. Zero-Tolerance Policies
- Racism, discrimination, or offensive behavior is strictly prohibited
- Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated
- Violators will be removed from the tour without refund
7. Liability and Responsibility
- Participation is at the guest’s own risk
- The company is not responsible for:
- Injuries or accidents
- Loss of personal belongings
- Illnesses or unforeseen incidents
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended
- The company is not liable for force majeure events or third-party service disruptions
8. Agreement
- By booking a tour, guests agree to these terms and conditions
- Failure to comply may result in removal without compensation
- Soul Vacation Egypt reserves the right to enforce these policies at all times
